The Home Tour Agreement ensures compliance with MLS and NAR rules.
Scope
It covers touring services only, not additional brokerage services.
Cost
There are no fees associated with our touring service agreement.
Understanding the Agreement Terms
Purpose and Requirement:
This agreement is necessary due to recent changes in Multiple Listing Service (MLS) and National Association of Realtors (NAR) rules. It requires potential home buyers and real estate brokers to have a written agreement for "Touring Services" before visiting properties listed for sale on the MLS.
Compensation and Fees:
There is no fee owed by the potential buyer to RE/MAX Results for providing touring services under this agreement.
If additional brokerage services are required beyond touring, a separate agreement must be made. Broker commissions are negotiable and documented separately.
Nature of Agreement:
This is not a Buyer Representation agreement. By signing, both parties acknowledge that no agency relationship is created, and the potential buyer is not a client. Thus, RE/MAX Results does not owe fiduciary duties under Minnesota law or any contract.
Duration:
The agreement expires seven days from the date of signing.
